DERRY City and Strabane District Council offices in both Derry and Strabane will be closed for the Bank Holiday on Monday, August 31 2015, reopening on Tuesday, September 1, 2015.
Refuse Collection Services
Refuse collection will be as normal on Monday August 31.
Recycling Centres
Recycling Centres across the district will remain open on Monday August 31.
Leisure and Arts Facilities
The following centres will be open to the public on Monday August 31
- Melvin Sports Complex
- Riversdale Leisure Centre
- Derg Valley Leisure Centre
- Foyle Arena
- Templemore Sports Complex
- Brooke Park Leisure Centre and Bowling Green
- The City Baths
- Brandywell Sports Centre
Bishop’s Field
Bishop’s Field Sports Centre and 3G pitch will close for the Bank Holiday
Museum and Visitor Services
The Guildhall and Tower Museum will open as normal on Monday August 31 from 10am to 5.30pm. And a reminder that last entries for visitors to the Tower Museum are at 4.30pm.
Cemeteries
Derry City and Strabane District Council Cemeteries will be open and fully operational on the Bank Holiday.
Dog Shelter
The Dog Shelter facilities in both Derry and Strabane will be closed on Monday August 31 and reopen again as normal on Tuesday September 1.
