FORMER Monaghan manager Seamus McEnaney has not ruled himself out of taking over as Derry GAA boss.
The position became vacant after Brian McIver stepped down as Doire manager earlier this month following the county’s All Ireland Qualifier defeat to Galway.
He cited poor refereeing in the game as his main reason.
McEnaney has been out of county management since stepping down as Meath boss in 2012.
Previously he managed his home county of Monaghan.
He says he will only take the Doire job “under the right circumstances”.
“A lot of boxes need to be ticked for me to be interested in an inter-county job.
“The quality of players need to be available and get every single player in that county playing. The facilities also need to be available.”
