Police have renewed their appeal to members of the public to ensure their homes and vehicles are secured overnight.
The appeal follows a recent upsurge in criminal activity in the city.
Several homes in streets in and around the lower Creggan area between Broadway and Westway were targeted by criminals who caused damage to, and in some cases, stole items from vehicles.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police are appealing to homeowners to ensure that their homes/vehicles are secured overnight.
“Remove all valuables from your vehicles when not in use.
“Remember, keep your property safe and secure – close, it, lock it, check it.”
The spokesperson said anyone with information in relation to any of the incidents, anyone requiring crime advice, should contact any of the following;
